Carpenter, 95, Jonesboro, passed away at 6:40 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in Gas City. She was born in Jonesboro, Indiana, on Saturday, February 2, 1929, to Frank and Mary Campbell. On June 26, 1948, she married James Burton Carpenter, Sr. who preceded her in 2011.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nDelores attended Jonesboro High School and dedicated her life to being a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devoted member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Marion, where she faithfully praised the Lord and read her Bible. Delores enjoyed watching game shows, solving word search puzzles, and reading.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include her son, James B.
