Dewitt's vehicle struck a pedestrian, who was identified to be Jeffrey Moss, 66, of Logansport, IN. Further investigation revealed Moss was crossing from the south to the north side of US 24.\r\n\r\nMoss was pronounced deceased at the crash scene by the Miami County Coroner's Office. Notification to the family of the deceased has been made.\r\n\r\nIt was dark out at the time of the crash, and alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
