Taylor, who preceded her in death. \u00a0She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Andrew M. Taylor; brother-in-law, David Linville; and great-grandson, Oliver S. Taylor Morgan.\r\n\r\nJane graduated from Jonesboro High School. \u00a0A lifelong musician, she studied piano with several teachers near her home, and later at Indiana University. \u00a0After her children were born, she found the best teachers available for their musical education. \u00a0Jane worked alongside her husband as the secretary and bookkeeper in their construction business. \u00a0Later, she served for over ten years at Taylor University as secretary to the campus pastor. \u00a0In her later years, she volunteered at food pantries in the Gas City and Jonesboro area. She also volunteered as a tutor to adults with reading difficulties and those working toward their GED.\r\n\r\nJane was a devout Christian and an active member of Gas City First United Methodist Church for 76 years. \u00a0Playing the organ, playing the piano, and singing in the church choir over many years were just a few of the ways she used her talents as a musician and a lover of music.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include her sons, Samuel J. (Becky) Taylor of Muncie and Timothy M. (Wrenne) Taylor of Carmel; daughters, Gwendolyn J. (John) Lattimer of Muncie, Jennifer A. (Robert) Nowalk of Pittsburgh, PA, and Susan K. (Toby) Clairmont of Battle Ground, WA; and sister, Alice Linville of Venice, FL. \u00a0Jane is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral &amp; Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. \u00a0Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Jane\u2019s life will begin at 1:00 pm. \u00a0Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.\r\n\r\nMemorial contributions may be directed to Disabled American Veterans, Bldg. #185, Rm.
