She was born in Kempton, Indiana, on Wednesday, July 30, 1941, to Hubert and Emma (Hubbartt) Stanberry. On August 24, 1957, she married Larry Lewis, who preceded her in 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosalee graduated from Summitville High School and worked for more than 32 years at RCA before she retired. She and Larry lived in Gas City for over 40 years where they raised their family. She found joy in the simple things in life. She loved reading and could often be found with a good book, working on a crossword puzzle, or watching NASCAR. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church, where her faith remained an important part of her life. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Survivors include her children, Cheryl (Bill) Lawson, Jeff Lewis, Steve Lewis; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert W. and Emma Ann Stanberry; husband, Larry A. Lewis; brother, Marvin Stanberry; and daughters-in-law, Norma Lewis and Barbara Lewis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral &amp; Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Rosalee&#8217;s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association P.O.
