These new laws focus on bolstering public safety, providing tax relief for veterans and supporting Hoosier farmers and small businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of these new laws include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.des05.com\/t\/49706833\/1676493225\/109919151\/0\/60330\/?x=489eea07\">Senate Enrolled Act 1<\/a>85<\/strong><strong>: Stronger Age Verification for Vape Sellers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new law State Representative Ethan Manning sponsored aims to strengthen oversight of tobacco and e-cigarette sales by requiring wholesalers to hold a valid state sales certificate and limiting new permits at locations with recent violations. This bill would also protect Hoosier youth by requiring stricter ID checks and increasing penalties for repeated failures to verify a buyer\u2019s age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.des05.com\/t\/49706833\/1676493225\/108141237\/0\/60330\/?x=65f82bba\">House Enrolled Act 12<\/a>10<\/strong><strong>: Property Tax Relief for Veterans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new law provides more robust property tax relief for Indiana\u2019s veterans, including a 100 percent property tax deduction on assessed value for totally disabled veterans and new and expanded credits for partially disabled and war-time veterans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.des05.com\/t\/49706833\/1676493225\/108907794\/0\/60330\/?x=c7da6980\">House Enrolled Act 14<\/a>24<\/strong><strong>: Supporting Hoosier Farmers, Small Businesses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new law prevents over-regulation on Hoosier farmers and local vendors, giving them more freedom to sell their products and expanding access to affordable, homegrown food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State Representative Ethan Manning encourages Hoosiers to stay informed and engaged.
