He was born on April 8, 1994, in Wabash, to Jeff and Fern (Swinger) Dillon.

Bryce was a 2013 graduate of Wabash High School. He had a deep love for working on automobiles, especially alongside his dad. He was most at home with grease on his hands and a project in front of him, finding joy in taking something old and worn and bringing it back to life. Whether restoring a car or fixing something broken, Bryce had a gift for seeing potential where others saw only wear and age. He also found peace in the simple beauty of life-being outdoors, spending time at the lake, and enjoying nature. Some of his fondest childhood memories were made on his grandparents’ farm, where he eagerly helped with chores. As a young boy, he proudly wore his beloved “chicken checkin’ boots” while helping his grandmother gather eggs, bringing laughter and joy to those around him.

Bryce will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the smile that could light up any room. He had a gentle way of making people feel seen and valued, and his presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to those who knew him. In recent years, Bryce began attending church, where his faith in God grew stronger. His spiritual journey became an important part of his life. He was sincere and humble in prayer, often ending with the heartfelt words, “God, forgive us of our sins.” Those simple words reflected the tenderness of his heart and his desire to walk closely with the Lord. Bryce’s loss leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him, but his memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Fern Dillon; his brother, Josh (Cayla) Dillon of Brownsburg; his sister, Andrea (Avi) Tal of San Diego, California; paternal grandmother Loretta Dillon of Wabash; two nieces, Rosie and Beatrice Dillon of Brownsburg and two nephews, Jensen Dillon, Brownsburg, and Zev Tal of San Diego, California. Also, his aunts, Marcia (Ron) Hensley, Julie Castle, Sherry Swinger and Michele Dillon, all of Wabash; Faye (John) Dunnagan, of Peru; Heather Daugherty and Kelly (Randy) Reahard, of Lagro; Kim Snyder of Urbana; Lori (Dave) Harrell of LaFontaine; and Mollie (Gary) Hiner of Huntington; and uncles, Brad (Emily) Dillon of Lebanon, Missouri and Ronnie (Dawn) Dillon of Lagro; as well as several cousins. He leaves behind his beloved dog and faithful companion, Niko, who was with him until the very end. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Chet and Shirley Swinger; his paternal grandfather, Robert Dillon; his aunt, Debbie Sunday; an uncle, Bill Dillon, and two cousins, Amanda Bowling and Andy Inskeep.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, June 26, 2026 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
