The City has secured most of the fund\u00ading need\u00aded for the project through a\u00a0Parks Bond issued in Decem\u00adber\u00a02025 and is now invit\u00ading the com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty to help close the remain\u00ading\u00a0gap.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Planned as a&nbsp;pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal\u00adly designed con\u00adcrete skatepark along the park\u2019s exist\u00ading mul\u00adti-use trail sys\u00adtem, the project is intend\u00aded to expand recre\u00adation\u00adal oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties while strength\u00aden\u00ading qual\u00adi\u00adty of life and com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty vibran\u00adcy. In addi\u00adtion to cre\u00adat\u00ading a&nbsp;safe and inclu\u00adsive out\u00addoor space for healthy activ\u00adi\u00adty, the skatepark is expect\u00aded to sup\u00adport broad\u00ader efforts to enhance Marion\u2019s parks, attract and retain res\u00adi\u00addents, and invest in ameni\u00adties that ben\u00ade\u00adfit the com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty for years to&nbsp;come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crowd\u00adfund\u00ading cam\u00adpaign is sup\u00adport\u00aded by the Indi\u00adana Hous\u00ading and Com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty Devel\u00adop\u00adment Author\u00adi\u00adty through a&nbsp;statewide&nbsp;\u200b\u201cPatron\u00adic\u00adi\u00adty\u201d crowd-grant\u00adi\u00adng pro\u00adgram. Every dol\u00adlar raised through the cam\u00adpaign, up to $50,000, will be matched by the State of Indi\u00adana, mean\u00ading each con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtion will have dou\u00adble the impact.
