She was born on April 18, 1947, in Huntington, Indiana, to Raymond and Bernice (Yocum) Schaffer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Linda was a graduate of Lagro High School. She married Billy E. Boggs in Lagro, Indiana on April 21, 1979; he died July 27, 2017. Linda retired from IMCO in Huntington after several years. She attended the Lagro Community Church and was a former member of the Lagro American Legion. Linda enjoyed watching and feeding the hummingbirds, and sitting outside on her porch swing. She loved taking care of her family and raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is survived by four children: Jennifer (Richie Harlan) Beeks of Wabash, Indiana, Greg (Nikki) Beeks of Lagro, Therese Mangrum of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Sharon (Dennis) Bone of Roann, Indiana; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons Ronald and Thomas Beeks, daughter Patty King, and two brothers Robin and Terry Schaffer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be a celebration of Linda&#8217;s life at a later date.
